Minister Sisulu to attend the inauguration of the Vice Chancellor of Mangosuthu University of Technology
The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Ms Lindiwe Sisulu, in her capacity as the Chancellor of the Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) will on Saturday, 25 August 2018, honour the inauguration of Dr Enoch Malaza, the new Vice Chancellor of the MUT.
As part of the inauguration Minister Sisulu and Minister of Higher Education and Training, Ms Naledi Pandor will also officially open on-campus student residence.
As the country commemorates women’s month, Ministers will also launch a memorial fountain for the late first year Quantify Surveying student, Ms Zolile Khumalo who was killed earlier this year at one of the MUT off-campus student residences
The Minister is expected to be joined by Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, Vice Chancellors of other academic institutions and other dignitaries.
