Farewell and inauguration ceremonies of members of the Board at the Municipal Demarcation Board
The Ministry for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) invites media to the farewell of outgoing members and inauguration of newly appointed members of the Municipal Demarcation Board (the Board) that will be held as follows:
Date: 20 February 2014
Venue: Birchwood Hotel, Boksburg
Time: 18h00 to 22h00
Theme: “Fifteen (15) years of Spatial Transformation.”
The ten newly appointed members of the Board were announced by the Honourable President of the Republic of South Africa on 4 February 2014, to serve as members of the Board. The members are appointed for a period of five years as of 20 February 2014. COGTA and the Board are facilitating an un-interrupted transition in this regard.
The medium and long term priorities of the Board for the next five years will be highlighted at the media briefing that will take place at the said event.
