Minister in the Presidency responsible for electricity to join Tshwane Executive Mayor on site visit to collapsed pylon sites
The Minister in the Presidency responsible for Electricity, Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, will today join the Executive Mayor of the City of Tshwane as he conducts a site inspection at the collapsed Pylon sites.
Yesterday, 7 City of Tshwane electricity pylons collapsed causing 132kv powerlines to fall onto the N4 freeway. This has resulted in a widespread power outage in large parts of Pretoria East and North.
The Minister will be looking at extending additional support to the City.
