Minister of Health, Dr Joe Phaahla will on Friday, 17 November 2023, visit the Northern Cape Province as part of ongoing provincial support visit programme to assess the state of healthcare service delivery in provinces.
Minister will be accompanied by senior health officials and receive a briefing on health service delivery challenges facing the province and discuss possible interventions with provincial health authorities, both immediate and long term.
This visit will culminate with a side-visit and walkabout in Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe Tertiary Hospital and Dr Winston Torres Clinic to assess the state of health infrastructure and interact with health workers and clients.
