Health Minister to conduct site-visit to Eesterus Clinic in Mamelodi
Pretoria: Minister of Health, Dr Joe Phaahla will this morning (Thursday, 23 November) conduct a site-visit to Eesterus Clinic, near Mamelodi in Tshwane District as part of ongoing programme to monitor and assess the state of health service delivery around the country.
These visits to health facilities provide Minister with first-hand experience on challenges facing public health system in order to recommend both immediate and long-term interventions to improve access to quality health services.
Minister Phaahla will be accompanied by Gauteng MEC for Health and Wellness, Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko and senior health officials and conduct a walkabout around the clinic to assess the state of health infrastructure, interact with health workers and clients.
