Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Jeff Radebe, will officially open a newly built Ntuzuma Magistrate’s Court in KwaZulu-Natal province on Tuesday, 28 May 2013, at 09h00. This forms part of the department’s commitment to infrastructure development intended for previously underserviced communities and an endeavour to bring justice services closer to the people.
Since the 1970s, the community members of Inanda, Ntuzuma and KwaMashu and three Amakhosi areas namely, AmaQadi, Amaphephethe and Amatata had to travel to Verulam Court to access justice services such as civil and small claims court.
Immediately after the opening of the court, the Minister will interact with members of the community during the public participation programme on all issues related to justice services.
