Minister Radebe to conduct conversations at the evidence-based policy-making and implementation executive course with senior government officials
The Minister in the Presidency responsible for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and Chairperson of the National Planning Commission, Jeff Radebe will conduct conversations at the evidence-based policy-making and implementation executive course to be attended by senior government officials.
The course is presented by University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Development Policy and Practice (GSDPP) in collaboration with the Department of Performance, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME) and the Programme to Support Pro-Poor Policy.

Minister Radebe will provide some insight on how public sector officials should work with their political principals on the first day of the course, which is an executive course for strategic leaders and top managers in the public service and is being offered for the fourth time.
The course is designed to assist participants to use evidence to make well informed decisions about policies, programmes, projects and services and to improve government’s impact on society.
The resource and facilitation team will comprise of leading experts, drawn from both academia and government led by Ms Lindiwe Msengana-Ndlela of Department of Science and Technology and Prof Ruth Stewart of University of Johannesburg, supported by Dr Ian Goldman of DPME and Prof Alan Hirsch of University of Cape Town.
