Minister Mantashe to address the Black Business Summit
The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Mr Gwede Mantashe (MP) will on Friday 30 June 2023, deliver a keynote address at the annual Black Business Summit convened by the Black Business Council, in Kempton Park.
This year’s Summit is taking place under the theme: “20 Years of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act – Accelerating Implementation, Creating Jobs and Growing the Economy.”
The Summit brings together Thought Leaders, Government Ministers, Academics, Economists, Professionals, Organised Business, and members of the Black Business Council, to review and interrogate policy and legislative instruments that affect overall socio-economic transformation and inclusive growth in South Africa. Minister Mantashe’s address will focus on “South Africa’s Energy Security and Sovereignty in the context of Just Energy Transition.”
