The Minister of Water and Sanitation, Mr Gugile Nkwinti will convene a consultative meeting with Amampondomise Traditional Leaders as well as Caba communities to give progress on Mzimvubu Water Project in Caba Great Place, Qumbu on Monday, 21 January 2019. This is part of Minister Nkwinti’s efforts to bring up to speed all key stakeholders about new developments on the project, get a buy in from them and address any concerns that might have arisen since the project was announced.
Last week, he met Elangeni Traditional Council in Tsolo and outlined his department’s plans and urged Traditional Leaders to play a leading role in the project as it is set to have economic spin off for the communities.
