Minister Gugile Nkwinti to host Land Tenure Summit

The Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform Gugile Nkwinti will on 4 to 6 September 2014, deliver the keynote address at the Land Tenure Summit to be held in Birchwwod Hotel, Gauteng. About 2500 delegates are expected to attend the summit. 

Some of the issues the summit will tackle is tenure insecurity in commercial farming areas, tenure challenges in communal areas, and how best to resolve South Africa’s land reform 20-years since the demise of apartheid and advent of democracy.

The summit will also be attended by the Deputy Ministers of Rural Development and Land Reform Candith Mashego-Dlamini and Mcebisi Skwatsha. 

Leading international researchers on agrarian reform will also attend the summit.
