The Minister of Transport, Mr. Fikile Mbalula, joined by Transport Deputy Minister Sindisiwe Chikunga and Gauteng and Mpumalanga MECs for Roads, Transport and Public Works respectively, Jacob Mamabolo and Mohita Latchminarain, will on Tuesday, 12 April 2022 officially Launch the Easter Road Safety campaign.
The Minister will demonstrate the use of law enforcement technology as he officially launches the Campaign to promote responsible road use during the Easter period and beyond.
With many South Africans traveling to various destinations for the Easter period, traffic volumes are expected to be high.
The principals will also be joined by the Road Traffic Management Cooperation (RTMC) Chief Executive Officer, Advocate Makhosini Msibi and Board members.
