Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula will this Friday, 8 November 2019, inspect PRASA’s new trains with a ride on one of the locally produced trains, from Pienaarspoort to Pretoria Station.
The second leg of the tour (a visit to the train manufacturing plant), as communicated in the previous media advisory, has been postponed.
Members of the Media are invited to join the procession.
Details are as follows:
Pienaarspoort to Pretoria Station train ride:
- 04:30 Members of the procession park their vehicles at PRASA House in Tshwane and travel to Piennarspoort Station, on board PRASA vehicles.
- 06:00 Procession boards the train at Pienaaarspoort Station and travels to Pretoria Station.
There will be a media briefing at the conclusion of the train ride at PRASA House.
