Water and Environmental Affairs Minister, Mrs Edna Molewa, will officially launch the Pilanesberg Bulk Water Supply Scheme at a ceremony to be held at Ntswanalemetsing village, in the Moses Kotane Local Municipality in North West on Wednesday the 23rd April 2014.
The Scheme, which will benefit 57 villages in the Moses Kotane, Rustenburg and Thabazimbi Local Municipalities, will also support the local mining industry and support job-creation. It is also set to reduce the water backlog in the affected municipalities. Molewa will be accompanied by the Premier of North West, Ms Thandi Modise, MECs and Mayors.
