The Minister of Social Development, Ms Bathabile Dlamini will on Sunday, 2 December 2012, officially open the National Youth Camp that will be held in the Free State Province. The Camp will bring together young people from all provinces and will run from 2 to 7 December 2012 under the theme: “Youth Working Together in Diversity”.
The camp is organised within the context of the Masupatsela Youth Pioneers Programme and the main objectives is to amongst others, develop positive bonds amongst young people, promote tolerance, social inclusion and respect for diversity, as well as to promote young people’s civic engagement and active citizenship. It will provide a forum for joint reflection and dialogue among young people and policy makers”.
