The Minister of Transport, Ms Dipuo Peters invites members of the media to the official docking of four brand new Passengers Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) locomotives in Cape Town on Wednesday, the 14 of January 2014.
Minister Peters will be joined during the docking by Chairperson of PRASA's Board, Dr Popo Molefe, Group CEO of PRASA Mr Lucky Montana and Transport portfolio Committee members.
This forms part of the seventy new locomotives to be received by PRASA this year.
Overall government is investing R172.3 billion in the next ten years towards capital projects that will transform passengers rail transport in the country.
