South Africa to commemorate World Remembrance Day
The Minister of Transport Ms. Dipuo Peters will deliver keynote address during the World Remembrance Day to be held at the Mandela Park Stadium in Khayelitsha, Cape Town on Sunday, 15 November 2015.
The World Remembrance Day is commemorated globally on the third Sunday of November every year as adopted by the United Nations. On this day, many millions killed and injured on the world’s roads are remembered.
The Minister will be joined by provincial MECs for Public Works, Roads and Transport and Community Safety and Liaison, CEOs of Transport State Owned Entities, civil society, law enforcement agencies, public transport organisations and members of the community.
