The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA), Mr Des van Rooyen as the head of the National Disaster Management in South Africa, will visit the Western Cape, Philippi where the devastating fire claimed 6 lives.
The Minister will be briefed by the disaster management teams and then proceed to visit the affected areas, assessing the extent of damages caused and also visit the affected families (including those who lost family members and property).
