The Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies will deliver a keynote address at the third annual Stakeholder Indaba of the National Lotteries Board (NLB). The event will also mark the NLB’s 15 years of existence. In those 15 years, the NLB has distributed more than R18 billion to beneficiary organisations in sports and recreation, arts and heritage and charity fields, and other NGOs whose sole purpose is to uplift communities across the country.

The Indaba will focus on developing, among others, sustainable NGO funding models and how NGOs can contribute effectively and efficiently to the reduction of inequality, unemployment and improve job opportunities particularly among the youth.
The annual Indaba is the NLB’s biggest face-to-face platform designed to inform and educate the public about the NLB’s mandate, processes and policies.
