Minister Collins Chabane to lead BRICS road show

Minister in The Presidency for Performance Monitoring, Evaluation and Administration, Collins Chabane will lead the first road show of the Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS).

The purpose of the road show is to raise awareness and galvanise the support of the country for the Summit which will be held in South Africa. The road shows will provides a platform to inform the country about the importance of South Africa’s membership of the BRICS bloc and its benefits including how it benefits South African national priorities.

This public interaction is part of a build-up towards South Africa’s hosting of the BRICS Summit on the 26 to 27 March 2013. Government is hosting a series of road shows across all provinces in the lead up to the summit.
