Minister of Higher Education and Training, Dr Blade Nzimande launches KZN Education Alliance Forum
The Minister of Higher Education and Training, Dr Blade Nzimande, is scheduled to launch the KZN Education Alliance Forum in Durban today.
The Minister will address the Forum on the work done by the Department within the province in relation to:
- The transformation of Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutions, including NSFAS funding, building of new colleges and refurbishment of existing ones, enrolment at various campuses and the critical role of variouspartners and stakeholders
- Funding, infrastructure development and future plans for the province’s universities
- Skills development in the areas of Work Integrated Learning, learnerships etc.
