The Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Prof Blade Nzimande, will form part of a high-level panel of policy makers and investors at the South Africa Investment Forum of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition.
On the margins of the 2024 Africa Mining Indaba Conference, the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition will host the South Africa Investment Forum.
The purpose of the Forum is to showcase South Africa’s capabilities with regards to beneficiation of critical minerals and the efforts that government is putting in place to support investments in this sector.
The Investment Forum targets 100-150 investors from the UK, US, Japan, People’s Republic of China, India, Russia, Australia, Canada, and EU and will be held under the theme “Investing in the beneficiation of Critical Minerals in South Africa”.
