Minister of Higher Education and Training, Blade Nzimande will brief the media on the Convening of the 2nd National Higher Education Transformation Summit. This Summit will be attended by distinguished Scholars across the country and abroad, the leaders of our Universities, Quality Councils, University Councils, Student formations, political parties and government.
The Summit will be taking stock on the progress made from the first Summit to date and determine new trajectory on radical transformation of the sector. The Summit is to be hosted next month (October) in Durban.
The minister will outline many details and discussion documents.
