Media Invite from the Office of the Minister of Police
Minister of Police Bheki Cele together with National Police Commissioner General Khehla John Sitole and Provincial Commissioner of the Western Cape General Khombinkosi Jula will tomorrow Thursday, 23 August 2018 attend memorial service of three police members that were shot and killed over the weekend in the Western Cape.
Constable Lonwabo Kili (30) was shot and killed in Delft area and Constable Siyamcela Ncipa (37) was also shot and killed in Khayelitsha and their firearms were seized during the two incidents. In a separate incident, 33-year-old Constable Arthur Matu’s charred remains were found inside his burnt vehicle in Site B, Khayelitsha on Friday, 10 August 2018.
