Minister Cele will address the Ngcobo Community
In a concerted effort to claim back the dignity of Ngcobo Community from the brutal hands of the criminals, following the gunning down of five (5) SAPS members and a soldier in Ngcobo on 21 February 2018, the Department of Safety and Liaison together with South African Police Service will host a massive imbizo.
This will provide an opportune time for the Minister of Police Bheki Cele, to give feedback to the community of Ngcobo on the developments since the tragedy.
Through this robust engagement, the community of Ngcobo will be kept abreast of the status of policing since the last time the Minister was in the area, and reinforce the community and police relations, in ensuring that the communities bring forth information that will assist in ensuring their communities are and feel safe.
Members of the media fraternity are hereby invited to attend the Ministerial Imbizo and SAPS Accountability Engagement.
