Minister Bathabile Dlamini will address the Dialogue With Women In Business - Towards Women’s Financial Inclusion
As part of celebrating the life and legacy of Mama Albertina Sisulu, Minister in the Presidency responsible for Women, Bathabile Dlamini will be addressing Women in Business of South Africa focusing on the participation of women in the mainstream economy.
The status of women in the South African economy remains of great concern to the country. The participation of women in the mainstream economy is essential towards ensuring that our economy reflects a society that is equitable, prosperous and shared in an inclusive manner.
Women continue to face barriers which reduce and constrains their ability to realise their aspirations to the fullest extent, which results in despondency due to their true potential being limited by factors that are by no means absolute, if only given the level of support needed by all sectors and throughout all spheres of government, women would contribute significantly to the country’s overall GDP.
