The Minister of Basic Education , Angie Motshekga accompanied by Eastern Cape Education MEC Mandla Makupula and IDC CEO, Mr Godfrey Qhena will on Wednesday 19 August 2015 receive Nkonkwana Junior Secondary School in Willowvale, Eastern Cape.
The school, which was built by the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) as part of a partnership with the school which began in 2011, was built at a cost of R20 million. The school fulfils the IDC’s corporate social investment into the Eastern Cape province and in particular education.
Boasting 8 classrooms, an administration block as well as water and sanitation facilities amongst the many facilities, the school will officially welcome learners to their new learning centre with the official handover by Minister Motshekga
