Minister Angie Motshekga to be awarded the Knight of the French National Legion of Honour by the French Ambassador to South Africa
The Minister of Basic Education Mrs Angie Motshekga will tomorrow, Friday, 13 October 2023 receive the Knight of the French National Legion of Honour from the Ambassador of the French Republic to South Africa Mr. David Martinon.
The bestowing of the insigna of “Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur” is recognition of Minister Motshekga’s commitment towards access to quality education, inclusive education, girls schooling, the challenge of youth employability and as a privilege partner for educational cooperation between South Africa and the French Republic.
