The Minister of Basic Education, Mrs Angie Motshekga will host a consultative meeting at Sekgosese Secondary School in Senwamokgope, Limpopo.
As part of ongoing consultations with stakeholders and communities, the Minister will also use the opportunity to handover significant donations in the form of Mobile Libraries, Mobile Laboratories as well as Mobile Libraries and books with a total value exceeding R 740 000.
With over 25 000 schools having taken part in the 2015 School Governing Elections, the consultative meeting presents an opportunity to thank communities and parents for taking part in the elections and thus ensuring education is elevated as a societal issue.
Members of the media are invited to attend the consultation and will be afforded will be afforded interviews.
