Minister Angie Motshekga and MEC Ishmael Kgetjepe address 2nd chance matric programme and progression leaners in Capricorn, 10 Sept

A boost for grade 12 learners on 2nd Chance Matric Programme and progression

The Minister of Education Mme Angie Motshekga together with the MEC for Education Ntate Ishmael Kgetjepe will address progressed and 2nd Chance Matric learners of Capricorn district. This event is aimed at encouraging them and outlining details on the programme.

There are 0ver 7000 learners making progress to acquire the requirements of the National Senior Certificate through different programmes provided by the Department in Limpopo. These include those following modularisation, those progressed and those in 2nd Chance Matric Programmes. Government has realised that grade 12 becomes key in opening doors for both further learning and careers path hence the introduction of different study ventures such as these.

These learners write their examinations in 43 centres across the province. Learners coming from all parts of Capricorn District will be transported to the venue of the event. It is expected that the event will be attended by more than 1000 learners.
