Minister Angie Motshekga addresses 20th Anniversary celebration of Zenex Foundation, 22 Oct

Minister of Basic Education, Mrs Angie Motshekga, will on Thursday 22 October 2015 address the 20th Anniversary celebration of the Zenex Foundation. 

Established in 1995 as an independent, specialist grant-maker undertaking the delivery of projects and programmes in Maths, Science and Language (MSL) education in South Africa, the Zenex Foundation has invested more than R670m in research and programmatic contributions to improve the quality of teaching and learning in these subjects.

To mark the occasion, the Foundation will be handing over a complete series of graded readers for Grades 1-3 in nine African languages, designed to improve early literacy development.
