Minister of Basic Education, Mrs Angie Motshekga, will on Thursday 22 October 2015 activate the Drop All and Read: Getting the Nation to Read Campaign at Naturena Primary School in Naturena, Johannesburg.
The Minister will be joined by the Gauteng Premier David Makhura, MEC of Education Panyaza Lesufi, Executive Mayor of Johannesburg Parks Tau and Gauteng Legislature Education Portfolio Committee Chairperson Hon Joe Mpisi.
The campaign is aimed getting South Africans to read books, donate books, make time to read and to appreciate reading as a productive activity with long lasting benefits.
