Tomorrow, Minister Albert Fritz will address the Outeniqua Wheelchair Challenge (OCC) prize giving ceremony in George.
The OCC is a major sporting event on the city of George’s calender, and sees over 1000 athletes from all over the country descend to participate in a unique wheelchair race which caters for all categories of wheelchair athletes. The OCC has a 42.2km, 21.1km and 10km competitive wheelchair race, and serves a Paralympic Qualifying Event. There is also a 5km fun race.
Minister Fritz will be joined by National Deputy-Minister for Social Development, Hendirietta Bokopane-Zulu, in the handing over of prizes to race winners.
There will be an opportunity for photos and interviews.

Time: Minister’s address scheduled for 11:00, with prize giving to commence at 11:15am
