Minister Motsoaledi to hand over documents to victims of identity fraud

The Minister of Home Affairs, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi will embark on an outreach program in Hazyview, Mpumalanga as part of the Mandela Month activities where he will, among other activities, handover enabling documents to victims of identity theft and fraud.

Dr Motsoaledi has identified identity fraud as one of the key issues to be prioritized by the sixth administration as part of efforts to clean the national population register, thus maintaining its integrity and credibility.

The Minister will also hand over gifts and birth certificates to mothers of newly-born babies to promote the early registration of birth within 30 days.
