Western Cape Social Development MEC, Mr Albert Fritz and Health MEC, Dr Nomafrench Mbombo will be visiting the Cape Town Drug Counselling Centre in Mitchells Plain to mark Substance Abuse Awareness Week which begins tomorrow. The two MECs will be taken around the facility and orientated on the work that they do.
In addition the MECs will speak to members of the community, clients of the facility and the parents who form their support structure. This will also be a follow-up visit for MEC Fritz who opened the facility in March this year.
