Forty vulnerable school children from Ndevana location, outside King William’s Town will receive shoes through a partnership between a local based Lawulwa Civils and the Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs in the Eastern Cape Province (COGTA-EC).
The shoes will be handed over by COGTA MEC Fikile Xasa.
Ndevana is a rural village located in Ward 49 of the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality. It has a high rate of unemployment and most people depend on social grants and temporal jobs.

The donation will benefit school kids from Nonkundla, Masijongane, Nokwanda, Gugulethu, Funeka and Nonkqubela lower primary schools.
