Gauteng Human Settlements MEC Jacob Mamabolo, will tomorrow morning on Tuesday visit a family evicted from a farm last week in Rayton, Tshwane.
Accompanied by the Gauteng’s Rental Housing Tribunal Chairperson, Mamodupi Mohlala, the MEC will be on a fact finding mission to find out how this eviction was effected and the family left homeless.
In the recent past MEC Mamabolo has met various stakeholders to forge relations that will see the minimising of pain and trail left by harsh and inhumane evictions. The intention is also to ensure that the human rights of the vulnerable groups such as the aged, children and disabled are protected.
