Gauteng Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) MEC Jacob Mamabolo will today visit the incident site at the old power station in Soweto which collapsed on people who were allegedly stealing metal.
The MEC’s visit today is to inspect the site and to give support to the rescue teams from the Provincial Disaster Management Centre (PDMC) and Johannesburg EMS. The PDMC falls under the Provincial department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) in Gauteng.
