The MEC for Education, Mrs Reginah Mhaule will unveil the 2015 Mpumalanga Provincial Government Bursary Scheme during a media briefing scheduled for Monday, 21 July 2014, 8h30 at the Mpumalanga Department of Education, Riverview Offices (Behind Volvo Car Dealership).
The bursary scheme assists deserving learners from disadvantaged backgrounds to obtain a tertiary qualification from any tertiary institution in South Africa.
The MEC will on the same day handover five mobile school science laboratories donated by the Nedbank Foundation to ES Malele Secondary School in Shatale Circuit, Bohlabela District. This handover will start at 13h00.
This donation will contribute immensely on the improvement of the teaching processes at the school, as learners will be able to practically participate in science experiments, and physically observe the results of each experiment as opposed to only learning on them theoretically.
The MEC will on both activities be accompanied by Miss South Africa 2014, Rolene Strauss.
All media is invited.
