MEC for Local Government and Traditional Affairs Manketsi Tlhape will on Wednesday 25 September 2013 officially hand over the water reticulation project to the residents of Reagile Extension 8 in Leeuwfontein, Kgetleng River Local Municipality.
The project is the fulfillment of government promises to deliver clean water to residents and bring to an end water shortage problems in the area.
Reagile Extension 8 in Leeuwfontein is a newly developed area and it has a total number of 1661 households with an average of 5 people per household, making it to have an estimated population of 8000 people. Each and every household now has its own metered stand pipe
