Provincial MEC of Infrastructure Tertuis Simmers and Drankenstein Mayor to officiate the sod turning of the Simondium housing project.
Tomorrow, provincial MEC of Infrastructure, Tertuis Simmers, alongside the Drankenstein Executive Mayor, Conrad Poole, will officiate the sod turning of the Simondium housing project.
The Simondium housing project is anticipated to create 384 housing opportunities over the next 3 years. The two spheres of government are set to inject R77 million into this project. The development will consist of a mixture of First Home Finance (FHF) and Breaking New Ground (BNG) housing units.
MEC Simmers said: “This project is set to benefit individuals from multiple income brackets and will create a new integrated community. I look forward to turning the sod and this new dawn in the town of Simondium. This development will uplift the dignity of this community.”
