MEC for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, Mr Sikhumbuzo Kholwane will on Wednesday, 14 January 2015 visit schools in Mashishing and Elukwatini as part of the school re-opening campaign.
The campaign is part of the government’s programme of assessing the state of readiness of the schools and to welcome the educators and learners to the 2015 academic year.
MEC Kholwane will kick-start the campaign at Hoёrskool Lydenburg and Highveld Secondary on Wednesday, 14 January 2014, followed by a visit to Hlong Secondary school in Matibidi outside Graskop on Thursday, 15 January 2015. His last stop will be at a farm school called Kiwi Primary school on Friday, 16 January 2015.
All the proceedings will start at 7h30 to allow the normal schooling programmes to start at exactly 8h00.
