MEC Sikhumbuzo Kholwane to present R165 000 worth of prizes to 15 lucky winners of the Provincial Treasury fundraising campaign draw
Provincial Treasury MEC Sikhumbuzo Kholwane, in partnership with the Big Five Harley Davidson will on Saturday host the final draw for the raffle competition that has been running for almost a year.
As part of the fundraising campaign, Treasury together with the Harley Davidson group concurrently ran a competition with tickets sold at various selling outlets with a huge motor-bike at stake for a potential winner.
The proceeds of the fundraising campaign will be used to build and furnish four houses for impoverished households that were identified during the Nelson Mandela Month Campaign.
“The campaign is in line with the department’s call to respond to its social responsibility commitments by raising funds that can be utilized to make ends meet for the underprivileged households in the province who live below the bread-line,” said MEC Kholwane.
- First Prize: Harley-Davidson Sportster (XL883l) 2014, Riding Gear and 10 Riding Lessons ALL worth R115 000.
- Second Prize: R20 000.
- Third Prize: R10 000.
- Fourth Prize: 2 x R5 000.
- Plus, ten (10) lucky runners-up will win R1 000 each.
