MEC Reginah Mhaule will on 14 January 2015 (Tuesday), 07h00 visit Hoërskool Nelspruit in Mbombela Local Municipality. This is the 2014 best performing school in the province with 100% pass rate and has produced more pass bachelors, more distinctions, three best teachers in different subject areas and the overall best learner by the name of Madri Wiid.
Madri is part of the two other learners from Hoërskool Nelspruit, Danielle Van Zyl and Andrea Coetzee who are also in the top 10. The school has further made the province proud by producing top learners in both Mathematics and Geography.
It is evident that the outstanding achievement by the school and its learners is as a result of hard work and dedication in that three of the teachers produced quality results in Mathematics, Business studies and English First Additional Language, said the MEC.
The MEC will also use the visit to hand over a brand new Toyata Etios donated by Imperial Toyata Nelspruit to the overall best learner.
