The MEC for the Department of Local Government and Traditional Affairs will take part in the renovation of Upper Corhana Senior and Rainy Junior Secondary school at Libode in Nyandeni Local Municipality as part of the 2013 Nelson Mandela Day celebrations.
The initiative is informed by the pleas of the community and the dilapidated infrastructure of the schools he has identified said MEC Qobosiyane.
The activities of the day will include renovations of the schools through the Community Works Programme.
