Eastern Cape Treasury and Planning MEC Phumulo Masualle to hand over Madwaleni Senior Primary

The Eastern Cape Treasury and Planning MEC, the honourable Phumulo Masualle will hand over Madwaleni senior primary school in Bovini village, Libode education district at 10h00.

The 15 million worth school has 373 enrolled learners and starts at the foundation phase block, 14 classrooms, a science laboratory, a multi-media centre and a computer laboratory. The fully furnished school will be handed to the community of Bovini village as their heritage and a centre for community development.

The school is part of the Accelerated Infrastructure Development Initiative (ASIDI) schools project which is meant to ensure that teaching and learning takes place in a conducive environment. Additionally, handing over this school therefore is the fulfilment of a promise made by the existing government to ensure that teaching nationally is prioritised.
