MEC Nono Maloyi to launch the Anti-Fraud and Corruption Strategy

The North West MEC for Human Settlements, public Safety and Liaison, Nono Maloyi will launch the Anti-Corruption and Fraud Prevention Strategy aimed at intensifying efforts to prevent and combat fraud and corruption within the department.

The strategy outlines preventative measures and identifies challenges, for both combating and preventing corruption and promoting professional ethics. "Fraud and Corruption within Public Service defeats the government's purpose of delivering services to the electorate, and as a results my Department will strengthen its efforts in the fight against this monster," said Maloyi.

MEC Maloyi will further explore effective preventative mechanisms aimed at combating occurrence of fraud and corruption, strengthening the internal locus of control in the fight against fraud and corruption. MEC, Acting Head of the two Branches and departmental senior staff members will sign the Pledge, declaring their support in the fight against Fraud and Corruption.
