The MEC for Finance, Ms Motlalepula Rosho, will in compliance with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) table the Provincial Treasury’s Budget for the 2021/22 Financial Year.
MEC Rosho will table the budget which will be used by the department to provide oversight responsibilities with regard to financial matters in departments, municipalities 4 and entities as well as to provide leadership in the management of public resources for efficient, effective and improved service delivery in the Province.
MEC Rosho is expected to outline departmental targets for the current financial year as well as give assessment of the department‘s performance in the past financial year, which experienced the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic and its devastating effects in world economies.
