With Gauteng government’s programme to bring much needed services to its citizens, the Gauteng MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation Ms Molebatsi Bopape will hand over a new library to the community of Rooipoort in Carltonville.
The multi-million rand library is part of government’s objective to improve the socio-economic conditions within the area and all other underprivileged ones across the province through education and access to resources. It is also about inculcating the culture of reading and learning, especially among the youth.
