MEC Mbombo to participate in the Western Cape Provincial Parliament's Women's Day Debate

Tomorrow, 7 August 2014, Western Cape MEC of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Dr Nomafrench Mbombo, will participate in the Western Cape Provincial Parliament’s Women’s Day Debate under the theme: Substance abuse and domestic violence: the rights, role and contribution of women in the Western Cape.

The MEC will speak on the efforts of the Western Cape Government to curb violence against women and how this government has prioritised education and skills development as a tool to empower not just women but young people in general.
