MEC Leeto to issue school uniform in Theunissen
Continuing in her drive to hand out school uniform and sport equipment to identified needy schools in the Free State Province, the MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation Mrs. Mathabo Leeto will continue to roll out this programme as part of her contribution towards the 100th year celebrations of South African first democratically elected President Nelson Mandela.
MEC Mathabo Leeto will hand out school uniform as follows:

Venue: Reseamohetse Primary School (Theunissen)
Fifteen learners from each of the following schools will receive school shoes and uniform: Boliba Primary, Khotso Primary; Leboneng Primary, Reseamohetse Primary, Concordia High and Taiwe High schools. A total of 90 learners will benefit from this programme.
“This is a longstanding and sustained programme by the department which stretches from previous years where we seek to change the lives of our youth through school sport and by providing any other form of support to ensure that the youth of our province succeeds. During the month of June in 2017 we issued sport equipment and attire to 50 sport clubs in Kroonstad and we further issued sanitary towels and food parcels to Bartimea and Boitumelo Special Schools in Thaba Nchu. In the past week the department issued school uniform to primary school learners in Virginia and sport equipment to learners in Bethlehem. We will continue with this programme throughout the year” said MEC Mathabo Leeto.
